CNC Mill Machinist
Location: Madison Heights, VA (On‑site)
Type: Full‑Time, All Shifts
Pay: $21.00 – 30.00/hr

QAD is searching for full time CNC Mill Machinists (HAAS and FANUC) to join our growing team. At QAD, machinists are the go-to persons for setups, programming, and overall machine improvements. They ensure that the machines are running at their maximum capacity so that top quality parts are produced.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to CNC operators as needed
- Perform setups and changeovers
- Troubleshoot machine issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines
- Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean
- Assist in maintaining team efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience of CNC machine set ups and/or programming required
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Proficient in using digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tool.
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently required
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Dedicated work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Experience with FANUC controls is a plus
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming required
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- First, second, or third shift opportunities with shift pay differentials
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- Overtime available
