Overview
The Manufacturing Technician III supports manufacturing operations through maintaining, problem solving and repairing machines and maintaining spare parts inventories. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting manufacturing machines and equipment to determine root causes and perform repairs independently, documenting machine repairs as required by the Quality Management System, performing complex machine set up and programming, specifying and performing preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment, performing in-house calibration of equipment, specifying, sourcing, and maintaining spare parts inventories, materials, and tools necessary to support manufacturing equipment, performing complex technical tasks assisting engineers with electronic and mechanical systems, adhering to Quality Management System requirements, ensuring equipment safety features are operational and equipment is safe to operate, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a two-year vocational school degree in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar field of study or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four years of experience.
