Overview
As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. Your responsibilities include conducting facility walkthroughs, monitoring and inspecting equipment, troubleshooting and repairing building systems, responding to service requests, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire protection requirements. You'll maintain tools, submit expenditures, participate in facility projects, and document work in maintenance management databases. The role requires a Journeyman or Master level Electrician license with CCQ membership, more than 4 years of facility operations experience, high school diploma plus trades training, and the ability to work shifts with on-call availability. Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment and meet enhanced security clearance requirements.
