Position SummaryMidwest Equipment Manufacturing is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician.This is not a basic assembly-line role. We need someone who can understand how equipment goes together, use tools properly, catch issues, follow instructions, and think through problems.You’ll assemble equipment and components, help identify parts or quality issues, and work with the team to keep production moving.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble equipment, components, and subassembliesUse hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools safelyFollow work orders, instructions, drawings, and parts listsIdentify missing parts, fitment issues, and quality concernsCommunicate problems clearly with supervisors and team membersKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeHelp improve processes as the company growsRequired QualificationsMechanically inclinedExperience in assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, fabrication, or another hands-on mechanical roleAble to use common tools safely and confidentlyAble to follow written instructions and basic drawingsReliable, organized, and detail-orientedStrong work ethic and no-drama team attitudeAble to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work in a manufacturing environmentAdditional QualificationsExperience with equipment, machinery, electrical, welding, or fabricationForklift or material handling experienceExperience with ERP/MRP or production tracking systemsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth insurance, retirement plan, and paid time offPaid training and direct mentorshipOpportunity to grow with the company
