Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels; address inventory stockouts and discrepancies quickly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Optimize store layout and visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and manage the store budget, including expenses and revenue projections.
- Collaborate with regional or corporate management to implement company initiatives.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including retail displays and backroom areas.
- Manage community and social media presence; work with corporate marketing team to ensure local happenings and promotions are reaching customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven successful experience as a manager/supervisor in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial business focus.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow while adapting to an ever changing environment.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Knowledge or interest in photography, cameras and technology helpful.
