Informs supervisors of any vehicle problems.
Completes all pre-check forms.
Operates and maintains assigned equipment on specified route.
Operates forklift.
Cleans cul-de-sacs and other curbed areas inaccessible to street sweeper.
Reports any violations of city codes to supervisor.
Enforces safety regulations and inspects work areas for possible hazard and parking violations.
Cites street sweeping zone parking violations.
Responds to customer inquires and refers customer complains to supervisor.
Cleans and inspects vehicles at end of day.
Completes daily reports, work orders and/or daily log and maintains required paperwork
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must possess and maintain a valid state Class B Commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
This is a safety sensitive and critical workforce position.
Work Hours: 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Work Location: 18 Interchange Court
Additional Requirements
Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
Knowledge of department safety procedures.
Skill in establishing priorities and organizing work.
Skill in the operation of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Skill in oral and written communication.
