Highlights:
Summary: The RN – QI Coordinator shall be responsible to coordinate all aspects of performance improvement activities within the facility. The Coordinator will execute and coordinate all activities related to compliance with legal, licensure, and accreditation requirements. This individual will promote, oversee, and enhance the risk management program. The Coordinator will develop instruction, practice, job aids, feedback systems, and other solutions to job performance, clinical competencies, and professional development. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education/Experience:
Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience required. Experience circulating and scrubbing. Experience with quality management, licensure/regulatory planning and implementation, and case management preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Active RN licensure required, BLS preferred, CNOR preferred, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
- Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
