About the location:

An iconic hideaway on the glamorous Athens riviera, reborn. On the sophisticated Athens Riviera, at the tip of a pine-clad peninsula, Four Seasons offers the best of both worlds: a laid-back seaside escape just 30 minutes from the historical city centre. Discover the wonders of ancient civilization at the Acropolis, then return to Four Seasons to unwind and relax. Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a passionate Baker – Commis to join our Kitchen Department for the 2026 season (minimum 6 or 7-month contract).

As a Baker – Commis, you will support the Bakery and Pastry team in preparing high-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills within one of the world's leading luxury hospitality brands.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, pastries, viennoiserie, and other bakery products following Four Seasons recipes and standards.
  • Prepare ingredients and maintain proper mise-en-place to support the daily bakery operation.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the bakery section.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in accordance with H.A.C.C.P. procedures.
  • Assist with inventory, requisitions, and the proper storage of ingredients and products.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and kept in good working condition.
  • Work closely with the Pastry team and other Kitchen outlets to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in product development and continuously improve technical baking skills.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must hold a European Passport or have the legal right to work in Greece.
  • Previous experience in a bakery, pastry, or professional kitchen environment is considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of bread production, pastries, dough preparation, and baking techniques.
  • Passion for baking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; Greek is considered an advantage.
  • Food Service Sanitation certification is an asset.

Schedule & Hours

Summer Seasonal Job – 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.

Schedule is flexible and may change weekly according to business needs.
