Description
Position: MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location: Lahore
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify MEP BOQs (Bills of Quantities) before tender processes.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.Carry out project cost estimation specific to MEP disciplines.
- Review and verify technical specifications of MEP works against design drawings and standards.
- Evaluate and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), ensuring compliance with approved MEP drawings and site progress.
- Conduct onsite inspections to validate completed works and report discrepancies.
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering in MEP systems.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure all MEP works are in line with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Prepare the material calculation sheets and material demand according to site and Drawings.
Qualification and Experience
- DAE / B-Tech in Mechanical, Electrical,
- 10 years of proven experience in MEP Quantity Surveying with large-scale high-rise projects
