Shift Customs Clerk

PSM Recruitment are seeking an experience Shift Customs Clerk to work for a successful Customs Clearance firm in Dover.

Responsibilities:

· Completing the day to day customs clearance work

· Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required

· Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion

Skills:

· Willingness to learn customs procedures & principles

· Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets

· IT Literate

· Must be able to meet deadlines

· Be conscientious and have attention to details

· Be able to be part of a team

· Must be able to identify and report problems

· Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff

· At least 1 years experience in Customs Clearance

Key Performance standards: 

· Deadlines are met in a timely manner

· Processing is timely and accurate

· Obtain positive client feedback

Working Conditions:

Full Time – Shift work to support 24/7 operation (4 on 4 off – 2 days 2 nights rotation). Compulsory overtime maybe required
