Overview

The packager is responsible for the banding and packaging of coils at the Exit Sections of the Galvanizing Lines. 

Responsibilities

• Properly package, band and identify finished coils
• Help with inventory management
• Unload packaging supplies
• Operation of coil tracking and location equipment
• Perform any labor duties required by the lines

Qualifications

Required:

• Basic mechanical and electrical skills
• Safety and quality oriented
• Good people skills

Preferred:

• The desire to learn other positions for development and advancement
• Overheard crane certified
• Forklift certified
