Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join a leading manufacturing operation. This position offers exposure to advanced production equipment, maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives while working within a highly technical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, electronic and pneumatic repair work.
- Support manufacturing and engineering projects.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults.
- Conduct inspections and determine maintenance requirements.
- Perform testing and quality inspections on machinery and production output.
- Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and follow health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- MQF Level 4 or 5 qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
- Relevant technical or industrial experience.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- ICT proficiency.
- Ability to work a rotating 3-shift schedule, including nights.
