CDL Class A Transport Driver, Roanoke, VA

Woodford Transport, LLC is currently accepting applications for a full time transport driver.  

 

 

• High School diploma or equivalent

 

• Class A License with air brake and Hazmat

 

• Minimum of 1 year driving experience required

 

• Must possess a clean driving record

 

• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate

 

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

 

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

 

• Must be able to handle all weather conditions

 

• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements

 

 

 

• Load, secure, deliver and unload product to and from specified destinations

 

• Prepare proper pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections

 

• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures

 

• Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks/trailers 

 

• Operate Truck/Trailer in accordance to established safety procedures

 

• Safely handle hooking /unhooking hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading

 

• Safely fill tanks of all types and sizes

 

• Safely use various hand tools, pipe wrenches, cresent wrenches, hammers, etc

 

• Accurately complete driver logs and other paperwork as required

 

• Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers
