Position Overview: 

 

The Accounting Senior will be responsible for managing the global Intercompany and consolidation of our International Entities, including maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires adherence to tight deadlines. 

 

Responsibilities

 

• Reviews complex reconciliations, roll-forwards, cash flow statements and analyses, compliant with USGAAP & IFRS and internal controls; 

• Maintain and reconcile on periodic basis global Intercompany reconciliations and ensures the balances reflected are consistent as per USGAAP as well as relevant local GAAPs. 

• Assist in Statutory audits and Internal audits with auditors and coordinate with the internal business teams to deliver timely audit planning, reviews and audit closure 

• Responsible to ensure all business policies/ procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/ external regulations and requirements. 

• Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles 

• Effectively communicates across levels and functions of the organization; 

• Use professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues; 

• Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the India regulatory requirements. This includes annual fiscal audit, tax audit, & cost audits 

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years related accounting experience; preferably public accounting experience;  

• Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP 

• Experience in working on consolidations in ERP environment. 

• Experience working in global environment. 

• Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization 

• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across the globe. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required 

• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with oversight from Manager. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks 

• Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency. 

• High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated and results focused.
