Description
A reputable client of ours, specialised within the Travel industry, is looking to onboard a Head of FP&A, to join their team of professionals. The designated person will manage the financial architecture of a global portfolio, overseeing diverse subsidiaries, navigating high fixed-cost structures and variable costs (fuel, food, labour) while ensuring seamless financial reporting across international borders.
Duties:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and multi-year strategic plans, ensuring departmental goals align with the overarching corporate strategy.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts and long-range financial models.
- Perform "What-If" scenario analysis to stress-test business assumptions.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual). identifying trends and early warning signals in business performance.
- Prepare high-level presentations for the Board of Directors and investors, translating complex financial data into clear, narrative-driven insights.
- Partner with department Heads to optimise spend, improve margins, and evaluate the ROI of new initiatives.
- Scale the financial tech stack by implementing or optimizing ERP and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) tools to automate reporting.
