Advertising Lead

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of integrated advertising campaigns within the Go-To-Market team across BOQ Group’s brands, products and customer segments.

Reporting into the Senior Manager – Brand, Social & Advertising, the Advertising Lead will work to turn brand and business priorities into high-impact advertising programs that drive customer growth, strengthen brand consideration and improve marketing performance. Leading a team of Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers, you’ll oversee campaigns from initial briefing through to execution, optimisation and evaluation.

You'll work collaboratively across marketing, product, customer, legal and digital teams, as well as external creative and media agency partners. From the initial brief through to launch, optimisation and evaluation, you’ll bring together the right people, ideas and channels to deliver great work in line with business objectives.

You’ll also help make the way we work simpler, smarter and faster. That means improving campaign workflows and processes, overseeing tools such as Jira and Intelligence Bank, and exploring how AI, automation and emerging marketing technologies can improve the way campaigns are created, managed and optimised, while maintaining strong brand, risk and compliance standards.

About You

You’re an experienced marketing leader who knows how to turn strategy into advertising that connects with customers and delivers results. You’re equally comfortable shaping the big picture and getting into the detail, bringing together creative, media, customer insights and commercial priorities to deliver great work.

You’ll have experience delivering integrated campaigns across a mix of channels and working closely with creative and media agencies. Just as importantly, you’ll have proven experience leading and developing a great team, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across the business. 

You’re commercially minded, comfortable managing significant marketing investment and use insights and performance data to optimise results and continually improve campaign effectiveness.

We’re also looking for someone who is curious about what’s next. You’ll have an interest in AI, automation and emerging marketing technology, and see the opportunity to use these tools to help teams work smarter, move faster and create more effective marketing.
