Inside Sales Representative

Our Nordic team in Denmark have an exciting new opportunity to join them in the role of Inside Sales Representative.

This role supports customers within the Swedish Market so you will need to be fluent in Swedish and have a good level of spoken Business English.

The team invest in their people, and their management style is all about giving you the autonomy and trust to make decisions on your own judgement and fully support you on your journey through the business.

Based in Herlev, Denmark you will be part of an engaging and supportive team responsible for managing and growing business through customer engagement, exploring business opportunities within your customer base, generating leads, making outbound calls and virtual meetings to existing customers to increase loyalty in line with growth targets.

What will you be doing?

• Manage inbound and outbound enquiries, promoting Farnell’s products services, and capabilities.
• Oversee the full sales cycle — from first initial customer contact to order fulfilment — ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded.
• Grow relationships with expand sales with existing accounts through proactive communication and a high level or customer service and knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with product management, field sales, and suppliers to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Create accurate quotations, pricing information, product guidance, and end‑to‑end support.
• Coordinate customer needs across inventory, lead times, and pricing.
• Support team initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Working in cross collaboration to proactively coordinate sales efforts and strategies with internal teams such as product, materials and field sales.

• Inside sales, customer service or sales administration experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers quickly

• A collaborative approach with the ability to work well across departments
• Fluent in Swedish and good spoken Business English
