Description
The Barista is responsible for the preparation and service of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Produce and serve beverages and food items that follow recipes and/or product specifications to the expectation of guests.
- Record all sales, follow all cash handling procedures and process guest payments according to established procedures.
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Always provides the highest quality of service to guests.
- Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to carry and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of all types of coffee beverages.
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
