Manufacturing Technician
Mid Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm
This position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and report to leadership
- Start up machinery & shut down machinery
- Mechanical experience troubleshooting various issues
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Assemble, install, repair wiring, or electrical components that may have basic malfunctions
- Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery
- Clean and lubricate machinery
- Maintain good condition of machinery and operating of machinery
- Measurement & Quality Control: skill in using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished products and track data
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Over 2 years of experience preferred
- Basic mathematics skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may be the root cause of production delays or machine errors.
- Safety and Regulatory knowledge: understanding of plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and Good Manufacturing Practices or ISO standards.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with flexibility on Saturdays/overtime
