Senior Consultant – Solution Architect (DevOps & Cloud)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant – Solution Architect with 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud and cloud-native technologies.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing modern DevOps platforms and cloud-native solutions across AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Microsoft Azure.
This role requires a combination of solution architecture, technical consulting, hands-on engineering, and client-facing communication. The candidate will work with engineering and architecture teams to design scalable, secure, highly available, and automated application platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement DevOps and cloud-native solutions for enterprise applications.
- Define end-to-end solution architecture covering application deployment, CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking, security, observability and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement Kubernetes-based platforms for production workloads.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Implement GitOps-based deployment models using Argo CD.
- Design containerized application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and govern code quality and security practices using SonarQube/Sonar.
- Evaluate and implement Service Mesh solutions for microservices-based architectures.
- Design cloud solutions across AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Microsoft Azure.
- Drive cloud and DevOps automation using infrastructure and configuration management practices.
- Perform architecture assessments, identify gaps, and recommend modernization approaches.
- Work with development, infrastructure, security and application teams to establish DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, CI/CD, containers and cloud environments.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, solution proposals and implementation roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevOps and engineering teams.

The candidate should be able to:

- Evaluate technology choices and architectural trade-offs.
- Define deployment and operational models.
- Design DevOps and platform engineering architectures.

They should be capable of designing the solution, explaining the architectural decisions to stakeholders, and working with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
