Field Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

 

The Field Marketing Specialist will serve as a key liaison between marketing and sales, ensuring programs, campaigns, events, and content strategies align to regional business priorities, pipeline growth objectives, and revenue targets.

 

 

This position will be involved in many elements of marketing and although the primary focus is field marketing, this role will work on wider marketing projects & activities, sales alignment, and campaign execution in a collaborative team environment.

 

Success in this role depends on building strong partnerships with sales leaders and sellers to identify opportunities, align marketing investments to business goals, and drive measurable business outcomes.

 

 

Essential Duties

• Partner closely with regional sales leaders and account teams to align marketing programs and investments with territory priorities, target accounts, pipeline objectives, and revenue goals.

 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with sellers, proactively identifying opportunities where marketing can accelerate demand generation, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.

 

• Facilitate regular planning and alignment sessions with sales stakeholders to ensure marketing activities support business priorities and market needs.

 

• Leverage sales feedback, pipeline insights, and business performance data to refine marketing strategies and improve program effectiveness.

 

 

• Play a foundational role in the development and execution of AVI-SPL’s field marketing strategy.

 

•  Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact events, including owned and sponsored virtual and in-person events aimed at driving demand and brand awareness for the company.

  

• Collaborate with various marketing team members to create and execute campaigns driving event attendance through email, social media, digital ads, and targeted outreach.

 

• Assist sales enablement efforts to create initiatives with the necessary tools, content, processes, and best practices to streamline sales efforts, build pipeline, and support revenue objectives.

 

• Monitor market trends and activity to implement initiatives to drive measurable results.

 

• Communicate to and educate the sales team about new and planned marketing activities, including global, regional, and local programs.

 

• Measure success by reporting on leads generated, contribution to sales pipeline, and revenue growth attributed to field marketing programs.

 

• Participate in quarterly business reviews with local sales manager and marketing lead development team to review lead quality, pipeline, and sales; recommend local marketing approaches to optimize results.

 

• Travel to event locations and other conferences/tradeshows as needed (Approximately 25% of work time.)

 

Other duties assigned as needed.

 

Location Preference: Tampa, FL. We prefer a candidate based in the Tampa area, but will consider alternate locations for the right candidate whose experience and qualifications align with the needs of the role.
