## What you’ll do

The Senior Legal Counsel for Joint Ventures will be supporting senior leadership team members across the Vodafone Investments division through corporate advisory of the investments and ventures portfolios.

Key accountabilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and strategic business partnering to the Vodafone Investments CEO and the Legal & Business Integrity Leadership Team members, advising on Vodafone Investments and structuring and negotiating related strategic programmes.
• Provide legal advice to board directors and senior business stakeholders.
• Develop strong business partner relationships with key leaders across Vodafone Investments, Legal & Business Integrity, Group External Affairs, Vodafone Local Markets, Commercial Shared Operations and Vodafone Business to enable value delivery in an effective, efficient and compliant way.
• Participate in and lead transformation initiatives in order to improve operational excellence, enable growth and support Vodafone in earning customer loyalty.
• Play a proactive role in the Legal & Business Integrity Team, taking on responsibility for sponsoring change programmes and projects to drive improvements, Spirit behaviours and engagement year on year.

## Who you are

• A strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence business strategy and protect reputation.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Proven ability to give specialist advice to commercial colleagues in order to drive decisions and resolve immediate, complex and strategically important issues.
• Experienced manager of diverse teams with a strong track record on engagement.
• Highly experienced lawyer, ideally with Corporate Law / post deal implementation experience as well as a solid knowledge of telecoms industry, relevant technology and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to operate efficiently, including delivering change programmes on time, within budget and for impact
• Legally qualified with significant experience gained either in-house or at a leading law firm
• Strong drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast-moving industry
• Professional level fluency in written and spoken English

## What's in it for you

Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5

Paternity leave: 16 weeks fully paid

Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
