About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain software solutions for next-generation, mission-critical systems, with a focus on aeronautical information services.
Salary
$8,000 – $12,500/month
Job Description
- Design, develop and maintain mission-critical software solutions in accordance with safety, reliability and performance standards.
- Develop software using languages such as C++, Python, Java, Rust and Go based on project requirements.
- Lead and guide development teams while providing technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Work with architects, developers and stakeholders to design, implement and deploy solutions.
- Develop test plans and test cases, conduct testing and participate in code reviews and static analysis.
- Perform system integration, testing and validation in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, safety and reliability issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, test results and compliance records.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent training in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of software development, cloud-native architecture and integration patterns.
- Experience with APIs, RESTful web services and messaging middleware is advantageous.
- Good understanding of cloud cybersecurity concepts and deployment risks.
- Practical experience with virtualised and containerised environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, Java, Rust, C++, Go or React.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, automated testing and TDD.
- Experience with high-availability, high-performance or real-time systems is advantageous.
- Strong interest in continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
