If you are looking for a role where your contribution is visible, your development matters, and your work supports a more sustainable future, Scatec may be the right place for you.

Why this role matters
This role plays an important part in supporting Scatec’s growth in Europe by helping build our offtake and PPA origination capabilities across existing and new markets. Working at the intersection of strategy, business development, power markets and project finance, you will provide the analysis and commercial support that helps turn renewable energy opportunities into successful projects. Along the way, you will gain exposure to the full renewable energy value chain while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver the analysis behind Scatec’s European strategy and business plan, and support live deals from screening through to signing.
- Maintain the PPA pipeline and offtaker insights, tracking opportunities from origination through to contract signing and highlighting where to focus commercial effort.
- Turn analysis into clear commercial materials and recommendations, including teasers, RFP packages, management presentations and reporting.
- Support the Energy Portfolio Management team in carrying out PPA pricing, market analysis and offer comparisons, providing insights to support commercial decision-making.
- Support Business Development and Project Finance teams in building and updating project business cases and valuations.
- Support financing processes by providing offtake-related inputs for financial models, lender presentations and due diligence activities.
- Improve how the commercial team works by developing better models, templates and reporting, and by applying data analytics and AI tools.
- Act as the analytical partner to Business Development, Project Finance, Energy Portfolio Management, Trading and Operations teams as the European portfolio grows.
What you’ll gain
- Exposure to renewable energy, power markets, M&A and project finance.
- Hands-on experience across PPA origination, commercial strategy and deal execution.
- Close collaboration with senior leaders and industry experts.
- Strong development opportunities in commercial analysis and financial modelling.
- A broad role with visibility across a growing European business.
What you’ll bring
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
- 2+ years from consulting, corporate finance, a utility, trader, developer or IPP, or other relevant industry experience.
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel, including cash flow, business case and creation of different commercial models.
- Experience in strategy, business planning or investment case work is an advantage.
- Understanding of power markets and PPA structures, or a clear interest and ability to learn them fast.
- Structured and accurate, with clear written communication for senior management.
- Experience with digital tools, data handling and AI solutions.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
