As a Program Manager IV supporting Nursing Informatics, you will provide strategic leadership for the implementation and maintenance of assigned programs at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus, driving governance, accountability, and execution across the clinical informatics portfolio. In this role, you will oversee Epic optimization, AI integration, vendor partnerships, regulatory compliance, and disciplined project and portfolio management while planning and maintaining systems and procedures, managing risk, and providing executive reporting. You will serve as a liaison between Nursing Informatics and external partners while supporting clinical informatics staff capacity and ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery of bedside-impacting initiatives.

 

A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with three days onsite.

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.
• Facilitate implementation of staff wellness initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
• Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
• Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
• Lead large, multi-site clinical informatics projects, including Epic upgrades, core Epic modules, third-party integrations, and AI initiatives.
• Oversee integration and optimization of Epic modules, Rover, Volcera, and other standalone clinical systems used by nursing staff.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource forecasting.
• Maintain operational systems, procedures, and program documentation.
• Serve as a central liaison across IT, clinical engineering, physicians, nursing leaders, and end-users.
• Advise and mentor other department team members; coach informatics specialists and project leads.
• Ensure compliance with HR and corporate policies.
• Review metrics, dashboards, executive status reports, and risk portfolios.
• Support clinical workflow optimization and bedside-impacting system enhancements.
• Participate in program-level governance and enterprise reporting.
• Address competing project deadlines, balancing priorities across multiple workstreams.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and six years of related experience
• OR Master’s Degree and five years of related experience
• Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research, and business plan development

• Strong presentation, communication and training skills

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Master’s degree

• Healthcare experience
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, etc.)
• Experience leading projects in large, multi-site healthcare systems
• Clinical documentation/certification (Epic Clinical Doc, Rover, Volcera)
• Healthcare, clinical, or informatics background
• Registered Nurse (RN)
