Team overview:

The Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Operations cover key areas:

  • Reporting \- e-2-e execution of non-financial regulatory reporting processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal Citi standards.
  • Controls \- comprehensive control framework that includes pre-submission, post submission controls, issue management, and sustainable risk mitigation practices.
  • Oversight \- Lead governance activities, including escalation protocols, regulatory issue remediation, disclosure to regulators to ensure transparency and accountability across reporting functions.
  • Compliance Management \- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, data integrity, and operational resilience.
  • Horizontal Function \- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Technology and Business partners to ensure alignment of reporting practices with evolving regulatory expectations and Citi policies.

Role overview:

As a Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Operations Analyst, you will independently drive critical reporting processes, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance. Leveraging your deep regulatory expertise, you will perform robust control activities, lead post-submission validations, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Technology partners to solve complex data challenges. This high-visibility role empowers you to present key metrics directly to senior leadership, champion process automation, and mentor junior team members. By ensuring audit readiness and upholding operational best practices, you will serve as a cornerstone of our reporting control framework, directly influencing our operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Support timely and accurate submission of non-financial regulatory reports covering different jurisdictions and products
  • Resolve issues related to regulatory reporting
  • Communicate operational changes arising from remediation or process or control enhancements to Operations & Technology
  • Develop Business Requirements for system/operational-related enhancements and End to end management of implementation of new or amended regulations
  • Reconcile positions and ensuring of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
  • Streamline process inconsistencies, mitigate risks, and process documentation.
  • Share knowledge among team to manage regulatory reporting operations functions.
  • Anticipate details of future regulations by communicating directly with key stakeholders and staying informed of relevant trends and industry new
  • Drive projects and process improvements
  • Support all control functions including MCA, audits, procedures updates and implementation
  • Calculate and monitoring of key KPIs and metrics
  • Timely escalate issues and monitoring till resolution
  • Close cooperate with Business and Tech partners on gap identification and process improvements
  • Contribute to governance activities and operational reviews
  • Maintain effective working relationships across functional teams
  • Ensure all required Citi policies & standards are implemented to ensure the compliance to avoid future risks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Operations, preferably in regulatory reporting space
  • Proven experience working with business stakeholders
  • Understanding of regulations and operational processes
  • Good understanding of Investments and Capital Market products as well as trade execution and settlement processes
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective, adjusted to recipient communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy
  • Critical thinking and drawing logic conclusions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Experience in process improvement or automation
  • Knowledge of control frameworks and risk management principles
