Recognised by Great Places to Work and the Inclusive Employers Standard, we’re building a modern, technology lead business and we're looking for a Financial Promotions Officer to join our Financial Promotions team at Domestic & General.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong regulatory expertise and a customer-first mindset to help ensure our customer communications are clear, compliant and effective. You'll review and approve a broad range of customer-facing content across digital and print channels, partnering with internal teams and external clients. This is a highly visible role where you'll help shape customer communications and influence good customer outcomes across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and approve customer communications and financial promotions.
  • Ensure communications are compliant, clear and customer-focused.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders and clients to support a right-first-time approach.
  • Support the development of policies, procedures and governance standards.
  • Produce and monitor management information and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and effective controls.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical guidance.
  • Partner with Product, Digital, Creative and Client teams.
  • Support the development of customer terms and conditions.

About You

You'll bring strong regulatory knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for someone who can balance regulatory requirements with commercial objectives, while building strong relationships and delivering practical solutions.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience reviewing, approving or advising on financial promotions and customer communications.
  • Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations governing financial promotions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them pragmatically.
  • A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering good customer outcomes.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and positively influencing stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using management information to drive insight and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with clients and business stakeholders.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.

You'll thrive in this role if you're collaborative, accountable, commercially aware and motivated by delivering high-quality outcomes for both customers and the business.

We offer lots of great benefits! Some of which include:

  • Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank/public holidays, as well as an annual option to buy up to 5 additional days of annual leave
  • Life assurance – employer funded cover of 4x basic salary
  • Health cash plan – employer funded cover to enable you to claim money back on essential healthcare costs, including dental, optical, physiotherapy and many more.  Cover also includes unlimited access to a 24/7 virtual GP service
  • Attractive company pension scheme
  • Car Leasing – access to a carbon neutral salary sacrifice car leasing scheme, with an all-inclusive monthly cost covering all charge, taxes, insurance, repairs and maintenance on a range of brand-new vehicles
  • Cycle to Work – tax efficient bike and cycling equipment worth up to £1,000
  • Employee Assistance Programme – specialist advice and support on issues such as finance, relationships, illness and family issues
  • Free Domestic & General protection plan – one free plan each year with access to discounted rates of up to 50% on additional plans, including referrals for family and friends

Domestic & General are an equal opportunities employer which means we treat people fairly. We welcome applications from all suitably skilled persons regardless of their gender, age, race, disability, ethnic background, religion/belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or marital/family status.

Please note that we have a thorough referencing process, which includes criminal record, credit and reference checks.
