Envision architecting a world-class Revenue Management ecosystem utilizing Zuora at a global scale. You will be working on the cutting edge of Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition technology, influencing how our financial operations scale and thrive. As the Principal Architect for Revenue Management and Workday Financials, you will work closely with product managers, finance stakeholders, and business analysts to design and optimize innovative solutions across our billing and revenue ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration with our Workday Finance core. Get ready to dive deep into complex challenges, collaborate with brilliant minds, and see your solutions directly impact global financial operations. You will analyze complex functional business problems and provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that best meet requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect & Design: Design and architect scalable, efficient solutions within Zuora and automated Revenue Management platforms to support global billing operations and compliance.
Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration, optimization, and scaling of Zuora modules (e.g., Zuora Revenue) and oversee critical upstream/downstream integrations.
Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on Zuora product updates, features, and evolving revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), proactively identifying opportunities to leverage them.
Business Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and business teams to gather complex requirements, translating them into robust technical specifications.
Guidance & Support: Provide functional leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to other team members, system analysts, and end-users.
System Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, billing, or revenue data issues, ensuring the smooth, automated operation of the Order-to-Revenue pipeline.
Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with platform services and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between CRM platforms, Zuora, and financial ERPs.
Process Improvement: Continuous research and analysis of industry best practices in Order-to-Cash and Revenue Management to recommend strategic improvements to our processes.
Roadmap Strategy: Help envision and execute the overall Zuora and Revenue Management technology roadmap.
About You
About You
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise engagements with a primary focus on Zuora Revenue and automated revenue management solutions for global customers.
Strong subject matter expertise in Revenue Recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and subscription-based financial models.
Proven experience working within an Agile methodology framework and utilizing project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
Validated domain experience with Workday Finance (specifically Contract to Cash, Professional Services, or Financial Management modules).
Active certification in Zuora solutions or functional areas of Workday Finance is highly preferred.
Experience managing or architecting the integration touchpoints between Zuora and Workday Finance ecosystems.
Other Qualifications:
Outstanding analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, with a confirmed ability to think strategically to tackle complex, global business questions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical architecture and finance stakeholders.
