Job Description Summary

Within the Military Customer Support Organization, as Field Service Representative (FSR) you will be located at 46th Brigata Aerea in Pisa for a period according to contract conditions between Customer and Avio Aero.
This role will require your permanent presence at Customer’s military base supporting Leonardo Aeronautics providing technical and logistic support to the AE2100D2 engine fleet installed on C-27J airplanes.

Job Description

Essential Responsabilities:

  • Manage, as primary interface, any technical evidences arising from operational and maintenance activities of the AE2100D2 engines

  • Lead and ensure the effective exchange of information between Leonardo Aeronautics  and Avio Aero, in particular with the System Engineer, Program Manager and Fleet Manager, concerning the management of the AE2100D2 engine program

  • Liaise with Leonardo Aeronautics operational department to ensure timely and effective response to technical issues;

  • With the support of the System Engineer, you will be accountable for problem identification and possible solutions to support Leonardo Aeronautics in the decision whether to remove an engine from service, after evaluating all possible troubleshooting operations in order to solve the problem "on-field”;

  • Manage shipping and receiving of engines, accessories and engine parts to and from Company sites

  • Ensure monitoring, recording and updating of the availability and the status of the engine fleet

  • Support Leonardo Aeronautics in planning the maintenance inspections

  • Support Leonardo Aeronautics on interpretation and embodiment of technical publications instructions and Service Bulletins/PTAs (Prescrizione Tecnica Applicativa), updating the engine configuration related to the activities accomplished at the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Levels

  • Liaise with the Fleet Manager on the availability of engine parts and accessories at the Customer warehouse, to support the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Levels activity at the 46th Brigata Aerea and Depot Maintenance Level at the Avio Aero Plant

  • Support Leonardo Aeronautics maintaining updated technical documentation (Engine Logbook, Accessories Log Card, PTAs, Compliance Status, etc.)

  • Ensure support on the management and use of the engine Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) as prescribed by the applicable Technical Publications

  • Coordinate, arrange and execute technical intervention of the GE Avio Field Team intervention at the 46th Brigata Aerea in Pisa or other national locations for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities

  • Liaise with Leonardo Aeronautics, in coordination with Avio Aero Departments, service data collection (FH, cycles, engine and accessories removals, life limited parts status, etc.)

  • Autonomously execution, as necessary, maintenance operations tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or technical High School Diploma with previous solid experience in similar role

  • Thorough knowledge of AE2100D engine models

  • Knowledge of accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems, as well as airframe interface/integration

  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical scheme of complex equipment

  • Knowledge of configuration control rules, processes and procedures

  • Fluent Italian and good level of English

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.  Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

  • Knowledge of bespoke Customer IT systems and tools such as SiLEF (IAF System for maintenance, configuration and logistic management)

  • Leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – B2

Salary range for this role: 42,225.00 - 56,300.00 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
