Description
W-2 Travel Contract | 2026–2027 School Year
- Hawai‘i Island – North
- Hawai‘i Island – East
- O‘ahu – Honolulu
- Position: Physical Therapist (PT).
- Location: Hawaii.
- Setting: School-Based / On-Site.
- Employment: Full-Time W-2 Travel Contract.
- Contract: 2026–2027 School Year.
- Travel Package: Up to approximately $9,300 per month.
- Package may include a tax-free per diem for qualifying travelers.
- Travel reimbursement included.
- 10 days of PTO.
- Compliance reimbursement included.
- Providing direct and consultative physical therapy services.
- Conducting evaluations and assessments.
- Developing and implementing student-centered goals.
- Supporting mobility, balance, strength, coordination, positioning, and functional movement.
- Participating in IEP meetings and the IEP process.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining required documentation.
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and related-service professionals.
- Recommending adaptive equipment, mobility devices, positioning supports, and environmental modifications.
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current PT license in good standing and eligibility for Hawaii PT licensure.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
- Flexibility with grade levels and student populations.
- Willingness to relocate to Hawaii for the assignment.
- Moving to Hawaii for work is a big decision.
