Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our team at Altera Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge semiconductor products.
Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, validation, and manufacturing to define product requirements and specifications.
* Perform silicon validation and characterization, including developing and executing test plans, analyzing data, and debugging issues.
* Design and develop test hardware and software for product bring-up, characterization, and production testing.
* Support product development from concept to mass production, including yield improvement and failure analysis.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes and methodologies.
* Document design, test procedures, and results comprehensively.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor product development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, silicon validation, or test engineering within the semiconductor industry.
* Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, digital and analog circuit design principles.
* Experience with silicon validation, characterization, and debugging techniques.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Perl for test automation and data analysis.
* Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
* Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and yield analysis is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
