Position Overview
- Provide occupational therapy services and interventions to K–12 students, supporting fine motor, sensory, functional, and school-related skills.
- Implement individualized therapy activities and strategies aligned with students’ educational and occupational therapy goals.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to monitor student progress and promote participation in the school environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and therapy-related activities in accordance with school and professional requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Illinois Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting with K–12 students preferred
