Your Mission
The Senior Manager, Planning and Operations, directs the planning and publishing operations for news, sports and variety content on ICI TOU.TV. As a key strategic pivot, your goal will be to translate business orientations into concrete results, for example by expanding the digital audience, boosting subscription and advertising revenues, steering the deployment of major events on ICI TOU.TV (Olympic Games, Eurovision, year-end programming, special news coverage) and promoting our variety content on YouTube while overseeing the dedicated team of digital editors.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic planning and organizational alignment
- Take part in quarterly and annual strategic and operational planning processes, including performance reviews and priority adjustments.
- Define key performance indicators and achievement targets for ICI TOU.TV’s News, Sports and Variety Section.
- Identify growth opportunities based on market trends, subscription and viewing behaviour and business objectives.
- Drive cross-functional cohesion and guide decisions in line with the vision and strategic objectives of the ICI TOU.TV platform.
- Play an active role in strategic planning committees and ideation and innovation sessions to support the ongoing development of services.
Major events and operations management
- Oversee daily publishing of news, sports and variety content on ICI TOU.TV.
- Run ICI TOU.TV operations for specials and live major events (Olympic Games, Eurovision, special news programming, year-end variety programming, live streaming, etc.).
- Optimize workflows among programming, marketing, product, digital innovation, technology and customer service teams to ensure speed and efficiency.
- Guarantee a high editorial standard, enrich metadata management and apply advanced SEO strategies to maximize referral.
YouTube growth strategy (Variety segment)
- Develop and execute the YouTube growth strategy for our variety content and promote off-platform discoverability.
- Supervise the work done to create appealing visuals/thumbnails, manage playlists and optimize retention, viewing time and impression metrics.
Cross-functional leadership and talent management
- Engage the various departments and ensure alignment towards our strategic priorities and business objectives.
- On a day-to-day basis, oversee, empower and support the ICI TOU.TV team of digital editors who are responsible for editorializing, showcasing and publishing content from the News, Sports and Variety Section.
- Be a strategic mentor to your team and co-workers as they develop their analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Promote a culture of innovation, diligence and operational excellence and explore the integration of new technologies.
This is a hybrid role blending in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, e-commerce, marketing or a related field.
- Ten (10) or more years’ experience in strategic marketing, digital service management or B2C operations (media, streaming or e-commerce industry preferred).
- Proven track record in team management with recognized ability to motivate, develop and supervise web editorial or operational teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technology development teams while staying focused on business objectives.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, YouTube algorithms and current online trends.
- Proficiency interpreting data (actionable insights) and handling decision-making tools (PowerBI and Adobe Analytics).

- Demonstrated agility, composure and responsiveness in quickly adjusting priorities in light of unforeseen developments and current events.
