Description
Perform root cause analysis - support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by bringing attention to quality problems, participating on improvement teams, and working with front end, design, quality and production personnel to resolve problems for Data Center Assembly processes in the Sumter facility. Evaluate data to identify key detractors of Scrap, Rework & Warranty and then implement Error Proofing solutions to achieve reduced CONC costs. Participate in PROLaunch projects representing the Quality Team. Guide 8D Teams and collaborate with Customer Quality Management program to address Data Center customer RCA activities. Supporting customer quality activities, including on-site interactions, root cause investigations, and communication of corrective actions. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Serving in a quality engineering or quality supervisory role. Analyzing manufacturing quality data related to scrap, rework, warranty, and CONC, using statistical methods and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power Bl). Using structured quality and problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone), Pareto analysis, Lean tools, and basic statistical methods, to lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
