Equal opportunities for everyone

Equinor is an equal-opportunity employer. We make all employment decisions, which include hiring, promotion, transfer, demotion, termination, and training, without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, parental status, veteran status, or any other protected status.

As part of this commitment, reasonable adjustments will be made during the recruitment process for candidates with disabilities or long-term health conditions. We also believe everyone should be paid fairly and consistently for their contribution to our collective success.  To ensure fairness and transparency, positions at Equinor are evaluated using our global job architecture based on the position’s responsibilities, complexity, and impact, and regularly reviewed to ensure consistency and alignment across the organisation.

Important notes about your application process

1. Prepare your application documents

When applying, please make sure you have the following documents ready:

• CV / résumé in English

Your CV should clearly present your education, experience, and skills. Please also review our guidance on what to include in your CV here.

• Official transcript(s) of records

You must upload official transcripts showing all completed higher education courses and grades. If you have studied at more than one university or programme, please include all transcripts from all higher education institutions.

Transcripts must be provided in English or a Scandinavian language.

• If you are still studying

Please upload an unofficial or temporary transcript of your current studies.

⚠️ Applications submitted without the required documents cannot be considered.

2. Important information about transcripts and grading

As part of the application, you will be asked to provide your average grade. This must be supported by your official transcripts of records.

Please ensure that all relevant transcripts are available before starting your application, as they will be used to verify your academic results.

3. Application limits and discipline selection

Our Graduate recruitment is organized into different job adverts, each grouping together related disciplines. When applying to a job advert, you will be asked to select your preferred discipline(s) from those listed.

The total number of disciplines you select across all applications in the same country cannot exceed two. Applying to multiple job adverts does not increase the number of disciplines you can be considered for.

This means you can:

• select two disciplines within the same job advert, or

• apply to two different job adverts and select one discipline in each

If you select more than two disciplines in the same country, only the first two chosen will be considered, based on the order in which your they were submitted. Any additional selections will be withdrawn.

4. Application integrity and accounts

To ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process, each candidate is allowed to have only one account.

Creating multiple accounts, resubmitting applications after rejection, or attempting to bypass assessment results in disqualification of all related applications.

If you need to correct or update your application, please contact us via the contact form.

5. Communication and email settings

To make sure you receive all updates about your application, please add [email protected] to your safe senders or whitelist in your email settings.

If your email provider allows it, adding the entire domain @equinor.com is recommended.

6. Background checks and transparency

We expect you to openly offer all relevant information about yourself during the recruitment process. Background checks are performed on all final candidates, and all permanent and temporary hires will be screened using relevant sanctions lists to ensure compliance with sanctions laws. When applying for a job in Norway you will be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment.
