Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of diesel engines and industrial equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can interpret schematics and effectively troubleshoot mechanical issues. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet.
Schedule:
6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Assemble and disassemble engine parts as needed for repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with service technicians to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in assembling, disassembling, and welding mechanical components.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
