24Summary:
To provide care to patients at Cook Children's Medical Center under the direction of the medical director. To perform support functions related to unit operations. To support and supplement the health care team in designated areas of the hospital.
Winter Plan 2026-2027
Available Assignment Dates:
10/5/26 - 3/6/27
11/2/26 - 4/3/27
Available Shifts:
7a - 7p
11a - 11p
3p - 3a
*Shifts will be determined and offered by the department based on need.
Rate: $41.20/hr plus shift diffs
Completion Bonus at the end of the assignment if all hours/requirements have been met.
Requirements:
24 hours per week
(4) day New Hire/Patient Care Orientation
Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) certificate.
- Paramedic license, EMT-P.
- One year experience as paramedic preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current BLS (American Heart).
- Continuing education requirements for certification/licensure as required by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
