Activities Supervisor - Margaritaville

NDM is a family-owned hospitality business that started in F&B and is now expanding into vacation rentals. We are creating a new sector in hospitality by creating identifiable brands with consistent accommodations, services, and amenities within the vacation rental space. Position is located at the Jimmy Buffet Inspired-Margaritaville Resort Orlando!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for organizing and hosting the daily activities as listed in the monthly activity calendar.
• Responsible for welcoming and assisting guests as they enter the Fins Up Beach Club.
• Responsible for following policies and procedures as set forth to ensure guest/member access, safety, and enjoyment for all guests/members.
• Responsible for ensuring all inventory needs are met.
• Must be able to conduct cash handling and point of sale at Sundries Retail.
• Responsible for dispatching guests down slides and monitoring team member performance.
• Be a team leader and lead by example because it is important to inspire motivation and anticipation in all team members.
• It will be the responsibility of the Activity Host to maintain effective lines of communication between all team members regarding club operations and issues relating to the guests/members.

Personal Attributes:

• Must be highly customer oriented and responsive with a high need for closure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work outdoors and different weather conditions
• Comfortable speaking into a microphone to large crowds.
• At least 3 to 6 months of leadership experience.

 

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred
• Experience in recreational hospitality, Cruise Ships, Summer Camps and or DJ
• Experience in a theme park setting.
• Must be able to pass CPR/First Aid certifications within in timely manner
