Just graduated from CDL school and looking for the perfect place to start your career? Launch your driving career on a dedicated regional route with guaranteed income from day one. You'll complete a 4-to-6-week paid training program alongside an experienced trainer, then step straight into full solo earnings with consistent miles, predictable home time, and a dedicated regional planner focused on your success.
What You'll Do During Training (4–6 Weeks)
- 1-on-1 Mentorship: Ride alongside an experienced trainer to master real-world OTR and regional driving conditions.
- Hands-On Operations: Learn efficient drop-and-hook procedures, backing techniques, and live load/unload management.
- Route & Trip Planning: Master time management, logbook/ELD compliance, and route navigation on dedicated regional lanes.
- Safety & Inspection: Build confidence in thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to stay safe and compliant on the road.
Trainee Pay & Earnings
- Training Pay: Guaranteed $850/week during your 4–6 week training period.
- Solo Pay (Post-Training): Starting at $0.56 CPM (with raises up to $0.64 CPM as you gain experience).
- Weekly Average: Most solo drivers average $1,400 – $1,500/week.
- Pay Guarantee: Guaranteed $1,000 weekly pay for your first 3 months after dispatching solo.
- Short-Haul Bonus: Extra $25 for every load under 100 miles.
- Orientation & Extras: $300 orientation pay on your first check (travel fully covered) + performance bonuses.
Freight & Schedule
- Distance: ~2,000 miles weekly once solo.
- Hauls: Mostly hassle-free drop-and-hook with minimal live loads/unloads.
- Home Time: Weekly 34-hour restart at home.
- Operations: Day, night, and weekend shifts managed by one dedicated regional planner.
Trainee Requirements
- Education: 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
- General: Age 21+ with a CDL matching your home state.
- Background: Clean record (max 2 moving violations in 2 years; zero major preventable accidents in 5 years).
- Screening: Must pass urine and hair drug screening.
- Note: Military driving experience counts via DD214.
