Director, Liquidity Management Solutions

What is the opportunity?

The Director, Liquidity Management Solutions is a critical role responsible for setting strategic direction for RBC's Liquidity Management Solutions suite within Canadian Business Deposits & Liquidity Management team. You'll drive commercialization to Commercial and Corporate clients, strengthening RBC's #1 market share position while supporting senior leadership and key stakeholders. This unique opportunity spans product development, product management, commercialization, and P&L ownership—managing one of the market's most complex liquidity product suites with significant global growth potential.

 

What will you do?

You will lead on key cross business and platform strategic initiatives and be responsible for:

• All aspects of the product management lifecycle, including financial planning/forecasting, competitive analysis, client needs assessment, product strategy development, and cross-functional partnership management
• Developing and maintaining product portfolio strategies aligned with Commercial and Corporate client segments, ensuring revenue targets and strong value propositions
• Partnering with technology and operations teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product features
• Serving as product subject matter expert to guide requirements and inform product enhancement priorities for Cash Concentration, Notional Pooling and Sweep Structures
• Driving innovation in account services and liquidity solutions to advance digital capabilities for commercial and corporate customers
• Enabling go-to-market execution across RBC distribution channels and sales teams
• Identifying revenue opportunities and accelerating market growth
• Addressing all aspects of product risk with evolving regulations, both domestically and internationally as required

 

What do you need to succeed?

Required:

• University degree in Business Commerce and/or MBA
• 10-15 years of relevant or similar experience
• Strong Project Management and Product Development experience
• Strategic influencing skills
• Strong business acumen with ability to challenge status quo while communicating a compelling case for change
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous situations
• Strong presentation capabilities
• Familiarity with Liquidity Management Product suite and systems would be a strong asset
