About the Role
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across our Financial Crime & Compliance solutions portfolio in Mexico. In this role, you will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships through cross-sell initiatives. You will play a key role in helping regulated organizations strengthen their compliance, anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, and risk management programs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers within the financial services, banking, fintech, and regulated sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract closure.
- Expand existing customer relationships by introducing additional LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with Compliance Officers, AML leaders, Risk Executives, Fraud leaders, and other key decision makers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including strategy, product, and global teams, to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory trends, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, sanctions screening, KYC, fraud prevention, and broader Financial Crime & Compliance challenges.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue opportunities through CRM tools.
Requirements
- Experience within the Financial Crime & Compliance industry or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in business development, enterprise sales, consultative sales, or solution selling.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), fraud prevention, risk management, sanctions, or regulatory technology solutions.
- Fluent Spanish and advanced English communication skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with global stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for winning new business.
- Experience selling technology, SaaS, data, analytics, risk, compliance, or regulatory solutions, and/or industry expertise gained within financial institutions, fintechs, compliance, AML, or risk functions.
