We are looking for an engaged employee to join our dedicated air and cargo team! The position combines administrative tasks with hands-on work on the ramp, offering a unique opportunity to be closely involved in aircraft and cargo operations in an international environment.
You will contribute both in the office and on the ramp – from reporting and data entry to planning, supervision, and participation in the loading and unloading of our UPSCO aircraft. The work is carried out in collaboration with our local partners and with the use of modern technology.
Responsibilities:
Answer and address the HELP Line.
Codes departure delays and arranges for small feeder aircraft if needed.
Plan, participate in, and supervise aircraft and cargo loading/unloading activities
Ensure that all operations comply with applicable safety requirements and regulations, both local and international
Prepare and coordinate information and reports for internal and external use
Prepare reports for Staff-level managers.
Monitor weather and announces operational bans when necessary.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in aircraft and cargo operations is an advantage, but not a requirement
High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
Must be familiar with ramp parking and all aircraft types
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook- accurate and efficient data entry skills
Valid driver’s license
Access to a personal car is an advantage as working hours are uneven
Fluent in both Swedish and English
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Problem-solving ability and good time management skills
Terms and conditions
Employment type: Part-time position of 20 hours per week.
Permanent position, starting with 6 months prohibition period.
We have collective agreement with the Union.
Location: Stockholm, Arlanda
Working hours: Morning, evening or night shifts, Monday to Friday, according to schedule.
PLEASE NOTE that an extensive background check will be done and must be approved by the Civil Aviation Authority before employment. This requires detailed documented work history for the past five years, employment references, a minimum of two referees, and a clean police record.
