Oak River Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Anderson, California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our team full-time. This vital role is responsible for overseeing infection prevention and control practices to ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs.
• Conduct surveillance and track infection trends throughout the facility.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control regulations.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, department managers, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead outbreak investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to infection control activities.

Qualifications:

• Current California RN or LVN license required.
• Infection control experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of CDC, CMS, and public health guidelines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
