The iconic Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery to champion personalised guest experiences and support our commitment to exceptional luxury service. The  Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery plays a key role to the Executive Pastry Chef, ensuring Pastry & Bakery operations and supporting and supervising other areas within the Pastry Kitchen Department under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef with daily pastry production and service. 

• Prepare and present pastries, desserts, cakes, viennoiserie, breads, and chocolate

products according to hotel standards. 

• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, taste, and portion control. 

• Follow recipes, production schedules, and standard operating procedures. 

• Support breakfast buffet, all-day dining, banquets, amenities, and special events. 

• Assist with mise en place and ensure all products are prepared on time for service. 

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and organization. 

• Properly store and label ingredients and finished products, following FIFO procedures. 

• Minimize wastage and maintain responsible control of ingredients and equipment. 

• Assist with new product development and seasonal menu preparations. 

• Work closely with the pastry team to ensure smooth daily operations. 

• Support and guide junior team members when required. 

• Perform other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or Chef de Partie.

•    A passionate  Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery or hospitality professional ready for your next career opportunity.
