As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring entry activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns while supporting a reliable team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and following site entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with maintaining access-control logs, issuing and recovering visitor credentials, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
