## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale the LETUS (Lab Equipment Tracking & Utilization System) platform, which helps optimize the usage of high-value lab equipment across Qualcomm. You will develop modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions that provide visibility into equipment utilization, availability, and deployment.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong Python and React expertise who enjoys working across the full technology stack and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React and Python

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications

• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and dashboards

• Design and optimize SQL databases and data integrations

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments

• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and documentation

• Drive best practices in software design, code quality, security, and maintainability

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision making

## Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Strong frontend development experience with React

• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services

• Experience working with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Ability and curiosity about leveraging AI in day-to-day work

• Using AI to continuously improve SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes

## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native applications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Exposure to Generative AI technologies, LLM APIs, Copilot, or AI-assisted development tools

• Experience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, or analytics platforms

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
