How You'll Make a Difference
As a core lending specialist, you ensure the integrity and consistency of our loan decisions. Your expertise in adjudicating loan and VISA applications helps keep our lending engine running smoothly, while your ability to identify financial needs allows you to recommend products that truly benefit our members. You play a vital role in balancing risk with the opportunity to help our community thrive.
What You'll Do
- Credit Adjudication: Evaluate and adjudicate loan and VISA applications, managing exception requests with sound administrative judgment.
- Process Optimization: Monitor and provide feedback on auto-approval systems to ensure our lending processes are efficient and modern.
- Lending Logistics: Coordinate the delivery of loan documentation to dealerships and branches, ensuring seamless closing and disbursement.
- Member Advocacy: Interview applicants to assess their financial needs and proactively promote products that help them reach their goals.
- Strategic Insight: Monitor industry trends to recommend policy changes and represent the credit union in community activities.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure strict adherence to lending regulations, including bankruptcy and collections laws, to protect our members and the organization.
What You Bring
- The Heart: A commitment to high-quality service and a desire to see our members succeed.
- The Experience: Minimum of two years of lending experience with lending authority is required. Four years of financial institution experience is preferred.
- The Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- The Skills: Excellent math skills, proficiency in lending software/PC applications, and strong decision-making abilities.
- The Essentials: Must be bondable and detail-oriented.

- Hours: Monday - Friday with a Saturday rotation
