LNA - Same Day Surgery - per diem

Job Summary

Salary range: $19.47-$31.09. Pay is based on experience.
Same Day Surgery is open from 5:30am -9pm.
Hours will vary

LNA is responsible for rooming patient, taking vitals, pre-surgery testing, EKG, Blood Sugars, Pregnancy Tests, etc. Assists with toileting, getting supplies, warm blankets, etc.

 

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing required

Experience
Clinical/Medical Office/Managed Care Experience 1-2 years preferred or Nursing Assistant Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable in general nursing assistant practices, personal care and basic medical services.
- Knowledgeable of patient rights, privacy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of patients and employees.
- Understands and is committed to maintaining highest level of confidentiality and adheres to policies on confidentiality.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
