WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You will lead Strategic Planning & Operations for Jordan North America's Sports business (Basketball, Golf, Baseball, Football, Soccer, and Athletic Training), connecting strategy to execution through planning, alignment, and operational leadership.
We are looking for a Lead, Brand Planning & Operations professional who is passionate about sport, culture, the consumer, and the communities we serve. You are a self-starter, solutions-oriented teammate, and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This individual will serve as a trusted planning and operations partner to the Senior Director, Sports Brand Management, helping shape priorities, translate business objectives into actionable plans, and drive alignment across a complex cross-functional organization. The role requires the ability to assess opportunities, navigate ambiguity, identify tradeoffs, and develop recommendations that influence decision-making, resource allocation,
and execution across the business.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, bringing clarity to complexity and helping teams stay focused on the work that matters most. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to anticipate challenges, connect teams, and drive accountability from planning through execution.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Brand Planning & Operations lead for Jordan North America's Sports portfolio, you will partner with Sports leadership and the Senior Director, Sports Brand Management to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and establish the operating rhythm that enables successful execution across the business. You will steward the planning frameworks, governance processes, tools, budgets, and resources that help teams deliver against key moments and seasonal priorities. Through proactive risk management, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional leadership, you will create clarity, accountability, and alignment while ensuring initiatives are delivered on strategy, on time, and within budget.
You will lead all in-season planning and drive readiness across key milestones within the CODE Marketing process. Your ability to connect teams, align stakeholders, solve problems, and provide a clear path forward will be critical in helping the organization navigate complexity and execute with confidence.
In partnership with Sports Brand Management leadership, you will develop operating plans, integrated workback schedules, and portfolio management tools that provide visibility into priorities, investments, risks, and progress. You will manage and orchestrate multiple seasons simultaneously, ensuring Nike Inc. brand standards are met and teams are positioned for successful delivery.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports directly to the Director, Jordan North America Brand Planning & Operations and serves as the primary Brand Planning & Operations partner to the Senior Director, Sports Brand Marketing. As a key member of the Sports leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping connect strategy, planning, investment decisions, and execution across the business.
You will work closely with Brand Management, Integrated Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Creative, Product Management, Finance, Legal, City Marketing, Nike Brand Planning & Operations, and enterprise partners to drive alignment around priorities, timelines, and key decisions. Sitting at the center of the offense, you will help leaders navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure teams have the clarity, resources, and operating structure needed to deliver against business objectives.
Your ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and create alignment across a highly matrixed organization will be critical to enabling effective decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and successful execution.
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, similar Marketing function, Brand Planning & Operations, Project/Program Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Inspires excellence through partnership and collaboration, managing and leading through change
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tracks and campaigns simultaneously
- Strong acumen for process optimization and understanding of tools, Airtable, budgets, etc.
- Ability to navigate a complex matrix and work with senior leadership on all aspects of the business
- Ability to evaluate and measure risk and results to help inform/drive decisions and learnings
- Proven track record of managing complex workstreams and delivering on time and within budget
- Travel approximately 10-20% of the time
POSITION LOCATION & SCHEDULE
This position is based at our incredibly beautiful worldwide campus headquarters location in Beaverton, Oregon. You'll work a "4/1 hybrid" schedule - Mondays - Thursdays are in the office and it's optional if you'd like to work Fridays from the Nike campus office or your home office.
