Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced CT Technologists to join a fast-paced, patient-focused imaging team. Available Schedules
Option 1:
- Saturday & Sunday
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Option 2:
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 1:30 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Compensation
💰 $61 - $64 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Consistently selects and performs appropriate CT protocol based on patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
- Selects reviews and adjusts appropriate technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient’s age and physical condition.
- Routinely positions patients properly on CT table. Removes all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
- Consistently completes the full exam- all appropriate paperwork, post-processing and archiving.
- Consistently verifies accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure and other pertinent information.
Consistently demonstrates appropriate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
Demonstrates a good technical knowledge to fully understand and operate the CT scanners and accessory equipment.
Maintains and cleans all CT equipment to established guidelines.
Actively keeps work area clean and orderly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent)
- Current ARRT certification and registration required
- Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
